The service

Thrift Directory Canada is a free directory published by InnovE-Tech Solutions inc.. No account is needed.

Accuracy of listings

Each listing is taken from open sources and from the store’s own website, on the date shown in its “Sources” block. A business can close, move or change its hours without telling us: check with it before you go. A field we could not verify says “not verified”.

We do not guarantee that listings are complete or accurate.

Neither reviews nor advertising

A listing is a set of facts, not a review or a recommendation. No store pays to appear in the directory or for the display order, which is alphabetical.

Correcting or removing a listing

The business or organization of a listing can ask for it to be corrected or removed, without giving a reason, through the “Correct or remove a listing” page. The request is handled within 7 days.

Data licences

Listing data remains under the licences of its sources, named on each listing: ODbL for OpenStreetMap, CDLA Permissive 2.0, Apache 2.0 or CC0 for the Overture Maps datasets, CC BY or the government licence for open data. Anyone who reuses it must respect those licences and their notices.

The site’s texts and design belong to InnovE-Tech Solutions inc..

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for a wasted trip or for a decision made on the basis of a listing.

These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and Canada.
